Jesse Island is an Austin event producer who can do both halves of the job. He builds the kind of room people talk about for weeks, and he actually knows how to pull it off. City permits, food and mass-gathering rules, the fire marshal, downtown street closures. He has done all of it.
That range is the point. The same guy behind the biggest all-you-can-eat wing festival in Texas, a 2,000-person party that raises money for Camp Bluebonnet, also runs Capitol Keys, Austin's most exclusive networking nights. Loud and public or quiet and curated, Jesse makes it happen.
